Social Location: I am a white-presenting, able-bodied, cis-gender, bilingual, intentionally monogamous queer woman, born and raised in Northwest Arkansas with ancestral and cultural ties to the Pikuni people of present day Alberta, Canada and Montana, USA. I spent several years in Italy where I learned my second language and met my life-partner. A huge part of my identity is held in having connections to many places. I am old enough to remember 9/11 but too young to have bought property in 2008. As a Millennial, I share both the practical gumption of my mother’s generation as well as the radical Gen Z notion that vibes do matter.
